I remember them from Ch. 39 in the late '60's I think. They were on either before or after Houston Wrestling -hosted by Paul Bosche, sponsored by Bill Varley Tire store. My brother, myself, my friends and neighbors were wrestling fans-probably in 1968- 1969.

anyway - Don Mahoney and Ms. Claire-they wore cowboy hats and played instruments- guitars. Maybe a kids show? I remember there was an audience with kids? Was Don Mahoney blind?

I think Don Mahoney was blind. I have these awful pre-cable memories of Don Mahoney and Jeanna Claire being the only show on TV Sunday mornings when my family wa geting ready for church.

I have this theory that given any small bit of pop culture, you can find someone on the internet obsessed with it. My Google search of "Don Mahoney and Jeanna Claire" didn't turn up much, so my theory doen't hold there.
