I know he's a Hall of Famer, but it's grating to hear him do the NBA...

Player A scores, Dick: What an excellent Player! Superstar, puffery puffery.

Player B scores, Dick: He's a high riser, dazzler, superstar, puffery puffery...

Dick belong in college. Do not want Dick in NBA.

    100% agree.

He maybe an icon in the college game but he's an annoying old man who doesn't know jack **** when making any comments on the NBA. JVG would run circles around him and call him a fraud if they ever do a game together.

This is the fool who made the comments that Yao would be a bust and the Rockets would be better off drafting Jay Williams. He actually reminds me of a poster here with over 40,000 posts.

He is great for the casual fan. And face it, when it comes to a random college basketball game, 85% of the people watching are probably casual.

It was actually kind of sad to listen to. His enthusiasm seemed very fake/forced and it kind of exposed his brand of commentary as shallow and manic.
