Could this team use the press?

Looking at the speed that we're going to have on this team, I was wondering if it would be possible for us to use the press at all next year. With the new 8 seconds to half-court rule, I think that this could really help disrupt offenses and hopefully create some turnovers.

So...is Rudy T a pressing coach at all? Is it too difficult to teach a young team how to do it well? My other concern would be the physical toll -- would we end up a battered team like Philly?

Rudy will trap if he has a fast shotblocker at the point of the trap, like he did with Garnett and actually Cato last November. Do we have a fast shotblocker to play the point and trap the ball as it comes across the line?

I hope we play more defense. I will leave out the cliche, but the Rockets of past relied on Defense to win games.

Rick Patino would be a great coach in this new defense crap.
