[Chron.com] Smoke raises alarms at Houston's Chase skyscraper

Dozens of Houston firefighters have been sent to battle a fire that broke out this evening in a downtown office building.

The fire was reported shortly after 8 pm at the Chase Building on Main at Travis.

Clouds of smoke could be seen coming from near the top of the building but no flames were visible at street-level.

Light rail traffic has been shut down, according to initial information.

I havent seen ToyCen post in a while but I am sure he would post this with some sort of "INSIDE JOB" attachment.

But I do hope everyone is safe, but Chase has been on fire recently.

OMG i worked in that building on the floor where the fire is (27th floor) craziness.
