I'm looking to put a system into my mustang (limited trunk space to work with) and I was wondering if any of you guys have systems worth bragging about in your cars? or perhaps just suggestions for me :)

I want to replace all my stock speakers, put maybe one 15? or 2 10s? or something along those lines, and amp and new face plate.. was wondering if any of you guys know much about this stuff and whats the best quality to go with.. no price range.. just not extremely over board..

I think the center of any audio system these days should be a CD MP3 player. Download music, burn your own music, and have hours and hours of music on 1 CD. You really can't beat that.

I've had mine (Blaupunkt San Jose MP41) for 6 months and I still love it. You need to check out http://www.highwaymp3.com/hwmp3.htm if you are interested in getting one. They have forums, reviews, and everything you need to know.

Last summer I got a Alpine CDA 7873 head unit but I haven't really enjoyed it cause my speakers are stock. I'm looking at upgrading to Alpine Type R speakers next.

Everyone I know that's upgraded their stock radio has gone with Alpine. The only flaw is their CD input - face comes out on a tray - I think its stupid.
