Great signing. Really wish we chased him as a back up 2. Can't compete with a starting role though.

Yep, and they pushed a conference rival (the Magic) deeper into luxury tax hell with the Redick offer sheet.

Personally, I think Brewer is a much better bargain at that salary than Redick would have been on that offer sheet. Hell, I think Brewer's the superior player, period.

Plus, Boozer's perfect for that system and is actually a better fit then Bosh would have been. Blessing in disguise for Chicago that they "struck out" on other guys (except Lebron/Wade).

    Good offseason for Chicago.

The Grizz's cheap owner refused to give Brewer a qualifying offer and let him become an unrestricted FA.

Bulls/Heat games should be interesting; can't wait to see the defense they try on them.

Is Deng still there? I thought they traded him to PTL for Bayless, Pzybilla?

Naw, that was only if they landed LeBrick. Once LeBrick left for the CHeat, the Bulls backed out of the deal.

The Bulls will be interesting. They have a lot more of a team, and a lot more hard-nosed guys, than the Heat do so far.

Would have loved him at SF. He's the only player I've ever seen guard Ron Artest and not be out-muscled. The guy is the prototypical wing defender.

Is it just me, or is Ronnie Brewer the value of the offseason? It's ridiculous that this guy went for this little, IMO.

I think JJ would've been a better fit, but with the Magic matching that absurd offer this was a quality pickup. Bulls should be competing for homecourt in the playoffs next year.
