Barros is a 13-year NBA veteran, with career averages of 10.5 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds in stops with Seattle, Philadelphia, Boston and Detroit. His best season was in 1994-95 when he averaged 20.6 points and 7.5 assists for Philadelphia, on his way to his only All-Star appearance and the 1995 Most Improved Player Award. Barros last played in the NBA in 2001-02, averaging 6.7 points in 29 games with the Detroit Pistons. A Boston native, Barros played 306 games for the Celtics between the 1995-96 season and the 2000, averaging 10.1 points and 3.3 assists. Barros was named to the Celtics coaching staff on February 4th and has been on the bench for the last 32 games of the season. Brown, a 6-11 center, was originally drafted by the Miami Heat with the 52nd overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft. Brown played six games in the 2000-01 season with the Kansas City Knights of the ABA, where he averaged 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He also spent part of the 2000-01 season with the Harlem Globetrotters. Brown signed with the Miami Heat on August 13, 2001 and averaged 1.0 point and 2.0 rebounds per game in 3 appearances in the 2001-02 season. He signed with the Fayetteville Patriots of the NBDL on March 3, 2004. In nine games with the Patriots, Brown averaged 14.8 points and 9.0 rebounds in 29.0 minutes per game.
