I am going to be doing some traveling this year.
Its hard to get hotel rooms, rental cars, etc. with out a credit card.
I currently have a Chase Card with Continental I use for traveling purposes.
It helps build 'miles' on my Continental One Pass.
However I want to get another card or two.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best credit cards?
Either extremely low interest, bonus points, rewards, or other benefits?

    Thanks!

I like the American Express Hilton HHonors card. Purchases earn points for free hotel stays.

Anybody have opinion on the Discover Cards? I heard they really do offer that 5% cash back?

I like discover. Use it all the time. You do get cash back, but not 5%. They have promotions though where you can sign up online and get 5% on a specific purchase type for 2 months or something. Recently it was groceries. That was handy.

if you're going to use it internationally, go with a visa or master card. they're accepted in more places than discover.

    Doesn't anyone listen?

Visa, it's everywhere you want to be.

Even Morgan Freeman said so. Morgan Freeman!

I like American Express's rewards. You can transfer points from them to Continental, or use their points for other things. I'm playing right now with the iPod Shuffle I got through their rewards program.

I think you have to make sure you pay the card off on time in full though to earn points. I always pay it off in full though on time... so not sure on this one.

I have a Chase MasterCard I haven't used since I got the amex card. To cover all bases, my debit card is Visa.
