At least I can look at something positive from the Astros losing.

Want to hear sweet justice? I live in Chicago.... and was about to go crazy with all the Sox talk, radio, tv, newspapers, etc. I constantly got ragged for rooting for the Astros and how they are gonna lose.. blah blah. (even have my Texas plates still) I even threw a screwdriver at someone the other day as I proceeded to tell them that I wasn't F*N around.

Well.. I got into an office pool.. put my $20 down on some squares before the series started.. well.. today rolls around and I expect to get my daily "Astro's suck" bashing.. There were a couple people next to my desk talking about "where's the broom" when I got to my desk today.. As I sit down.. the guy that runs the pool (who is the lone other Astro fan that works here) hands me an envelope filled with $500 in $20's. He also won $50. Everyone just sit there and stared a second.. and I busted out laughing. I then said "thanks guys for your money, I really needed it to party in Wrigleyville this weekend.. GO ASTROS!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I don't feel so bad now.
