It's sacriledge to root against your team, but that's exactly what I'm doing right now. I hope we don't win anotehr game until the trading deadling is over. I want every pressure placed on management to understand that no miracle run is happening. At some point, optimism and pluck turns into stupidity and denial. We're at that point.

Drayton and Timmy P better deal Loretta and Lamb for the best offer possible. There is zero reason to keep them this year. They better be shopping Lidge, Wheeler and Qualls, and if the deal is a fair one for prospects, then do it.

Enough rah rah crap. Folks will still head to the ballpark, even if Loretta, Lamb, Lidge, Wheeler and Qualls are all dealt. Hell, folks will go just to see the new blood. It's time to call it a season and bring in some legit prospects.

i wouldn't be so quick to trade them unless we got good value for them. we could always offer them (lamb and loretta) arbitration and if they leave we get high picks, which we haven't had much of in recent years.

i hate to see them lose from night to night...but honestly, i think the point is probably well taken now by the astros management and ownership. drayton is a p.r. guy, and i'm sure this bothers him big time. the only answer is to start moving guys. it's a matter of time.
