I've been trying to get rid of this damn cold/flu/pnuemonia for the past freaking MONTH. I've never been sick this long. Maybe I should have gone to a doctor but it's just so hard to get an appointment. I just so happen to have a physical this week that I set up a month ago so maybe I'll get some help then.
I had pharyngitis. Doctor prescribed Zithromax and Panax. I was feeling better in 3 days and over the damn flu symptoms in 6.
I caught a horrendous twenty-four hour virus the weekend before last that knocked me on my ass that Saturday. Had to waste the whole friggin' day (and night) in bed. I've had the sniffles since.
I've been sick on and off since the weather first turned cold. My wife too. My little brother feels nary a sniffle. I'm searching through some occult arcana to find a way to steal his youth.
I had what I thought was a touch of bronchitis. I finally went to the doctor after a month. He prescribed the standard stuff. It didn't work. I got bust at work and couldn't go to another doctor for another month. When I went he diagnosed me with mitoplasma...aka...walking pneumonia. My throat never quite recovered and my voice is still scratchy at times. Likely permanent damage. You might want to go to the doc ASAP.
Haven't been sick in 10 years this past March. and i run in the cold, rain, wind, ice, etc. good health has its benefits.
Hell yeah! I caught something from my sister during Thanksgiving. Then when I came back to my place, my housemate gave me his flu too. Since studying makes my head dizzy, all I've done is surf the net...
yeah i've been sick since the friday after thanksgiving. i got a sore throat, then was sore all over (especially my knees which was weird), then i felt a little better, then went on the longest coughing spree of my life. i swear all i did was cough for 3 straight days which also gave me a nonstop headache for those 3 days. now, 10 days later, it's almost all over but i still cough a little and my nose is running a little. on the plus side, i finally feel good enough to go ball tonight so that's good.
Maybe if you'd stop running the viruses could catch up. They're probably sick of tryin' to run your ass down.
I have had colds before, but this one I am having now is threatening to be the worst one yet! It seems like I have had it for over a month, and now it is finally starting to flex its muscles some. The bad thing is that I have to make work today AND take a final tonight. If I feel like this tomorrow morning, then I may have to call in sick and see if I can get in to see a doctor (that in itself is pretty much a worthless task).
update: I finally got my visit with the doc. My temp is over 100. Advised me to stay home and get plenty of rest while pumping myself with a lot of fluids, prescribed anti-biotics and Tylenol.
I have the crud also. Runny nose, sneezing, congested, cough, etc... I am sure it didn't help to play 2.5hrs of full court basketball last night...
I was fine until I read this thread. Now, my nose is acting up with congestion. I have allergies but the pollen counts are low for my area. What did you guys do to me? I feel like Bob Wiley. DR.
