He got a win today, and a good one. He's playing the best golf we've seen from anyone as young as he is in a long time. But am I the only one that really wishes he wouldn't dress so stupid? He's come along right when golf needs an up-and-coming star. He can play, and he seems like a good guy, but the popped collars and rhinestone belt-buckles are way, way too much. I know that he went to Oklahoma and lives in Dallas, and maybe he can't help it. I want to root for the guy, but clothes like these make it hard.

I had a similar problem 20+ years ago. My solution: Marriage. My wife has bought all my clothes since then.

Totally...I can't believe this guy doesn't conform to the incredibly awesome style the rest of the golfer have.

I'm not a fan of popped collars (can't tell if that was intentional or not) and big belt buckles...mostly because of the how phony most people are that have that style.

But I respect the guy for being himself and doing his thing regardless of people not liking it.

    Um, huh?

So why do you not judge Anthony Kim as being phony for doing popped collars and big belt buckles?

Because he's not wearing them in a club with his posse of posers nearby. He's wearing them on a golf course where nobody else thinks they're cool.

LOL! You guys are so r****ded!

Actually I don't mind one bit. It took about 2-3 years before she figured out what I would wear and not wear. From my standpoint, this is one less thing I have to do. Did I also mention she cooks, does laundry AND cuts the grass?

Golf has always cut normally conservative guys a little slack, and given them a little room to let loose.

In golf, even this guy is not considered a douchebag:
