Another Scam

I was supposed to call into a conference call for work using an 800 number and when I called the number a pre-recorded voice tells me to call another number "10-15-15-8000" to be connected for $5.49 and for an oporator. I'm not sure if that is a conference call number so I look up "101515800" online and sure enough it is a scam that charges you for calling a directory assistance number with the charges appended to your phone bill. I don't believe the person who set up the conference call is intending to scam us as they work for one of our clients who is a large company with no reason to run a scam but instead probably got misled on what she thought was a conference call service or possibly worse the conference call service number has been hijacked by a scam artists.

If anyone gets a call or a message telling you to call "10-15-15-800" don't call it!
