It seems that whenever I read about the new Congressman from New Orleans in the news, he's referred to as Anh "Joseph" Cao. On the other hand, the Governor of Lousiana is referred to as Bobby Jindal, rather than Piyush "Bobby" Jindal. I am just wondering why the quotation marks for one but not the other. Anyone knows why?
It's a southern/LA thing, I remember I had a case involving the Louisiana Insurance commissioner once who always went by James H. "Jim" Brown. Even said so on the official state letterhead.
