8-10 GB PSP2 by the end of 2006?

    Like the Xbox portable, this is another much talked about subject that hasn't really been mentioned much here. Despite the wording in this article, I'm not sure how certain it is that we'll see a PSP2, at least by the end of this year. We might get a redesigned PSP with 8-10 GB of flash memory and maybe a few other things (a clamshell design or something simple that wouldn't drastically change things). Hopefully it won't actually be a completely new system (better CPU/GPU, dual analog sticks/nubs, touch screen, whatever). It seems way too early to start that up, especially since it isn't like the PSP is a failure or anything.

    Might be a nice way to kick off the PS1 downloads that will be available later in the year.
