Watching G-State using the zone effectively today made me wonder if we could pack in a 2-3.

This would hide Yao's severe movement problem, but in turn give teams open threes.......which we give anyway

    Whatch yall think?

Im tired of watching Boozer torch Yao from 15 ft out.

so you'd rather let them make 3s instead of 2s?

    Yes, precisely...

Were not losing because of there 3-point shooting, but because of all the easy lay-ups and dunks they get when we get lost in a series of picks.

If the Utah Jazz beat us with there spectacular 3-point shooting, then kudos to them.

This is what I proposed after Game 2, when it was clear we had no defensive answer for Boozer.

I'd love to see it. Okur is the only prolific 3 pt shooter they have. I'd rather him shoot 10 3s in a game than have Williams and Boozer do whatever they want.

At this point nothing is gonna change maybe T-Mac's hunger and Yao finally gorwing some balls and going apesh*t on the guys but don't expect a gameplan game so late in a series especially from conservative coach like JVG. As for Golden State, Nellie just the mad scientist who comes up with so many different tactics during each game.

Example: Game 5, Mavs after getting pwned by Baron Davis finally decide to trap him every time he touches the ball.
Result: Mavs win late in the game cause Warriors just start jacking shots and lose the game on a 15-0 run by Dallas.
Adjustment: Game 6, Nellie tells his team to attack the basket when Davis gets trapped.
Result: Facials on Dirk, Tomahawks by Richardson, Jackson dropin wide open 3s from his living room.

See JVG's offense is too stale to be adjusted and his defense is like the bible so no changes to the holy of holies. PERIOD.
