I decided to post this one since it had some good stuff in it.

To clarify on the PS3 games:
Eh...I may have written that to get attention. Basically, 3-4 PS3 games are mentioned due to the exclusive(s) that OPM got (magazine will be out soon). The cover includes one of those games, The Darkness, which is being done by Starbreeze (developed Chronicles of Riddick IIRC). 1st/3rd person (guy says 3rd, but it looks like 1st) action game, based on the comic. One of the guys said that they saw it running on a PS3 devkit, which was a condition for being on the cover. They also mentioned Medal of Honor: Airborne and Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom being in the magazine.

Along with that, they also showed off Stranglehold, which is a video game spin-off of Hard Boiled. Kind of a Max Payne type game, by the same guys who made Psi-ops. Has some rough areas, but some of it looks promising. FWIW, there's a better version of this clip (with some more from the game) at gametrailers.com

Most of it isn't new, although the list of games they tell us that we should "expect to see" is pretty interesting. I definitely didn’t know of some of them.


The rest of the show is great, although I'll let you watch it for yourself. I especially liked the segments on BF2: MC for the 360, MP:Hunters for the DS, and Okami for the PS2.

And yes, this is my second attempt at promoting the 1UP show.

 

On a semi-related note, Game Head (on Spike TV) is about to show a trailer for MOH:Airborne. Another rare PS3 gameplay clip moment?

edit: Aw, that sucked. More of a teaser trailer, some (or most) of which appeared to be prerendered (I think it was supposed to be a mix of both gameplay and prerendered footage). Oh well. Game Head has been getting some good exclusives lately (Blur studios basically confirming KZ trailer was prerendered although that was kind of assumed at that point; Reggie mentioning a Zelda release date; and now this). Might have to start watching on a regular basis.

I'm sad because it took this long for that mistake to be brought up. I guess no one else tried to download it.

 

Should be a universal drop for all stores. I believe EB Games, Gamestop, Gamecrazy, and a few other stores all have it for $20.
