completely disagree with you there... i'd say houston has some fantastic seafood and italian restaurants. are they on par with NYC or Chicago or...
that is laughable.
look, i'm as a big a houston homer as you'll find, but you're out of you're mind if you think houston - as a whole - is a better "restaurant city"...
i'm gonna need some sort of verification on that claim... i just have a very hard time believing that a couple of NYC establishments have "better...
i think it would go something like: NYC (by far, not even close) Chicago San Fran Houston New Orleans LA what houston lacks in pedigree...

haven't been to 6th in several months (maybe longer), but Betsy's on w. 6th and lavaca (i think) is still one of my favorite spots in austin......
take the 3-4 hour drive to port aransas or rockport... i love down there.
derek and dominos (basically anything clapton touched is blues) the black crowes (most underrated band of this generation) the band (underrated)...
the commercials for this movie make it look horrible.
