He's not worth much anymore. They should still have 3-4 mil of cap room, West isn't worth more. Plus they'll have half of midlevel exception.

Am I crazy to think they might have a shot at Wade instead of Afflalo? It seems like a logical NYK sort of decision to give Wade the max now that he's a FA.

Agreed - NY should throw their money on short term deals to washed up players like Wade who were at least good at some point. Afflalo and Monroe are a little bit better than replacement level guys but those guys are available every offseason and they should be signed to support a core that is already in place. I'm pretty sure that core is not yet in place in NY.

I don't get the Phil Jackson/triagle love - the game has clearly changed and he doesn't seem willing to acknowledge and adjust to it.

Every day I say a prayer and give thanks to God for not making James Dolan the owner of the Rockets. And I'm an atheist.

If you are the Knicks , you gotta make something happen this FA period. NBA needs Celtics , Lakers & Knicks to be contending for playoff spots.

Monroe would actually be a good fit for them in the triangle. Affalo, idk...

As bad as it may sound, that roster can make the playoffs in the East. Just get a defensive big to partner Monroe or go small with Monroe at the C
