Donatas Motiejunas out for the season

The worse injuries are the ones that are non-contact and come unexpectedly.

 

Hmm... I'm not sure if you recall but Lakers didn't really give him chance to stay.. They went after Artest (FA after 1 season with us) and Ariza had to move on. It was pretty easy move since Houston had opening.

Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, D-Mo loses confidence when he thinks he can't get the job done, despite his good offensive skill set. It may take him a considerable time in order to get back to where he was, before getting injured.

All the more reason to retain Smith. Trade Jones, if there is a chance to getting a decent return, but if that is not possible, then bring him back.

Jones can still be useful as a backup 4, but he needs to put in a lot of work on defense and shooting/ strength training in the offseason.

Damn, this guy is a workoutaholic. He didnt stay in Latvia very long. Maybe hes trying to get in shape to impress/workout with Scola when he gets here.

 

If he is not back on schedule it won't be for lack of trying. DMO is a workout warrior.

hope he practices form and posture in his lifts rather than going for all out weight

herniated disks can be chronic if you dont take the care

 

That's all good, but can he make his free throws?

 

well he has full medic staff + coaches looking after him, they will say him what to do and he will do it.
