    Who would it be?

My vote would go to Neil Degrasse Tyson, put a scientist in office for a change.

Tyson-Nye would be a great ticket.

The president is not a king, he would still be gridlocked by the Kochgress.
But I would like to see a President who talked, cajoled, debated, chided and basically laid out a vision of government every day that promotes peace, tolerance, democratic participation, income equality, progress, science based decision making and not silly short term profits for corporations and the ultra-rich. They'd have to be totally irreverent to the office though, I've seen what convention and compromise did to Mr. Obama.

    So, Bernie.

I'd prefer a handsome, baritone, 40 something, with a Jesuit background and a sexy wife... but

    George Washington.

I'd like to see who has the cajones to vote against #1

I'm fine with that. The US needs more scientists and engineers and educators in office and less businessmen and lawyers.

JFK, recent enough to have clout and a great speaker. Also, For real positive major changes, Adams/Jefferson ticket. Not coincidentally, all 3 of those guys were probably the smartest presidents ever.

It would be interesting but I would be curious as to how the economy would go with them in office. . not to mention the Social side of things

I will see your Jed Bartlett with David Palmer.

    Anyone living and non-fictional?

    Bill Clinton.

For anyone not alive and not American: Nelson Mandela.
