    The entire city is filled with *****ty roads. Potholes everywhere. Patchwork is worse than the original pothole. :eek:

    It's crazy. The maintenance of Houston roads is some of the worst I've seen. It's such a stark contrast between here and Boston where I just lived for four years.

    In the two weeks I've been back here I've hit some insane potholes, mind boggling. And I've seen lots of ****ty patches that are effective for like a month and then it's just as bad as it was before.

    Combination of three things

    First we are on swamp land.

    Second extreme heat in summer

    Third this is a rich and thriving city where 18 wheelers and dump trucks are on these roads 24-7

    I read an article that a guy in Europe spray painted dicks on all the pot holes in his town.

    the government fixed them shortly there after.
