Am i the only one who thinks we take a chance at Randy Gregory.

We need to upgrade Mercilus he isn't a starter in this league.

Right now I think the pick is going to be Cameron Erving.

B'OB values versatility, Erving is a two time ACC offensive lineman of the year at two different positions, we just cut Myers, Ben Jones is unproven as a starting NFL Center, and if Mallet is going to be the QB his lack of mobility ups the value of solid OL even more.

It's not the sexy pick of a pass rusher or receiver, but you can't argue against trying to improve your offensive line

Those would have been nice picks outside of Hill

Great scoop. I guess this guy's "source" is the front page of the Houston Chronicle online. LOL.

I still remember the days when people were calling Stephen Hill the next Randy Moss....despite the fact that he didn't know how to catch a football or run a proper route. I wanted Coby Fleener that year, still to this day I think it would have been a better pick than Whitney Mercilus.

Are you suggesting Kerrigan would have been better than who they picked?

It would have been REALLY scary and downright unfair if JJ ended up going to NE at 17 like they predicted.

Heh, good call. I wasn't posting here in those days but I wasn't hot or cold on the pick when it happened because I didn't know much about Watt. I immediately started looking up everything I could find on the guy after we picked him and pretty quickly I warmed up to the idea. I was very much in the "Well if Wade Phillips likes him, he's probably good" crowd.

Erving would be a very solid pick. Plug and play center for the next 10 years.... OL would be set for the future.

If they pick up his option, they'll be paying him just short of $8 million.

That's almost as much as Arianna Foster's sl as teddy to make.

He might be a starter at 2 million or whatever he's at now. At 8 million he's a former player.

Erving? You gotta be kidding me. If thats the pick I'll be pissed. OL isnt a need for us like people make it seem. Give me a WR instead
