    I'd love to come but i've got a friends 10 year anniversary tomorrow at 8. i have to go to this because 10 years ago i left their wedding early to catch a rockets playoff game. i don't think i can get away with doing that again to the same couple.

    if we do this again for a game next weekend, count me in!

    jbasket- thanks for the private message. would love to join you, but these days I'm acrossveniceboulevard.

    so glad to see you chose Blondie's- that was my sports bar of choice for Rockets games for many years. I'm sure your group will have a good time and should be accommodated well. it was a firefighter bar with hot waitresses a decade ago, but they always turned on Rockets games when we asked.

    Where were you guys back in '95, when I had to watch the finals alone in my office at MTV? I didn't know a single other Rockets fan in NYC at the time!

    For those that are in brooklyn again the restaurant i work at will play the game for us. Raw bar and great food. The mayfield at 688 franklin ave.

    Damn, wish I'd have known that at the time. My office was in Times Square. That was pre-ClutchFans, though. It was nearly impossible to find out about stuff like that.

    Ha! I knew someone would say that.

    Man, I'd love to, but I'm on the other side of the country these days. Got tired of paying $2K a month for a 500 square foot apartment.

    Pretty confirmed.

    Several people have given their endorsements that Blondie's is the way to go; there was a CF poster that was going to go there nevertheless with this happening or not. Blondie's is a good place to go. In every old thread, people have gone to Blondie's. It is the place to go.

    There was sound last year for me, and I called in yesterday: they said that they should be able to get the sound for the game.
