4-5 record with our best hitters barely doing anything is pretty great actually.

Well, not many teams have gotten the sort of pitching performances from their #1 and #2 pitchers that the Astros have gotten out of Keuchel and McHugh, that was a big part of why they have 4 wins.

Pitching is indeed more important... but I do expect the hitters to start coming around here soon.

THIS. They both seem to take CONTROL of games. Really great to see that 1-2 punch in the Houston lineup. We just need first outing Feldman to show up more often than the last outing...and our 4-5 pitchers haven't been too shabby. The starting pitching has definitely been a pleasant surprise, while the offense needs to get their butts in gear.

Also, I could see us trading for a bonafide no 1/2 like Cole Hamels if we stay competitive by July

    Great to avoid the sweep.

4-5 is a very decent record considering the cold bats. We've got the pitching... if our batting comes around, we can win 85+ games.

I feel like Gattis channeled all his frustrations to start the season into that one swing. Dude hit that pitch a TON. Hopefully this is the start of his real turnaround.
