Is that the only thing reporters are allowed to comment on too? I've never heard anybody come out and say McHale is a great X and Os guy.

Yes, his top secret in game moves are guarded by the illuminati and the free masons. We're not privileged.

It's pretty much well established that he isn't an X's and Os coach. Fortunately, professional teams in the NBA have coaching staffs.

    Learn the game

Well if you were not so Supercilious and narcissistic in your replies ,you might recall there are many times a player intentionally tries to miss the second shot at the end of the game when his team is down by 3-points and making the second shot does not help in winning the game, as they lose by 1 point.

Throwing the ball above the square, insures it has a long rebound and it's 3 to 2 in favor of the Rockets on the rebound.

Next, Dorsey could throw the ball in and wait in the out of bounds, holding his man in the back court after he those the ball to the front court, if they foul him in the out of bounds, he get 2 shots and the ball back, learn basketball before you express your ignorance.

Rockets win in spite of McHale's ineptitude. Completely at a loss when they started the hack-a-smith strategy. James Harden kept the team in.

    Well done Brewer tonight.

McHale you deserve nothing except the excrements at Toyota center.

Rockets go the entire season without three straight losses...and with the most injury lost player games of any team in the playoffs.

How you idiots knowing that can say that means the coaching staff failed indicates a level of hate well beyond reason.

Timing is everything and with this team, there seems to be a timing issue. Mchale is fools gold. Wonderful regular season record and at the end of the season major flop. This happened each of the 4 years he's been here. Dwight should have sat after his first injury he came back too soon. Players should have been rotated out and rested to avoid injuries. Pop does that every year and miraculously by playoff time Spurs are healthy. You can scream this from the top of your lungs and people will still call you a conspiracy theorist, then they will bring up a meaningless regular season stat. Doc Rivers or Pop will out-coached Mchale in the playoffs, that's a fact all we can hope for is both Harden and Brewer go off cutting and isolating their way to the 2nd round.

    wth McHale?

Tonight he took out Howard with 2:07 left in the 4th tonight to ostensibly avoid hack-a-howard. Great, trying out a new strategy.

I was expecting us to burn 7 secs, take a TO, then insert Howard back in. Nah, he waits two NOP possessions before he puts Dwight back in. Huh??? Pels got the lead down to 5, I think.

Keep citing regular season wins you sheep. Time and time again, McHale gets exposed late in the season. +3 point differential this season. Can't remember the last time we've had a comfortable lead. All he can do is throw in our savior James Harden.

^^ yep he was rolling with a super small lineup of Jet, Prigs, Brewer, Harden and Ariza

Pels got it down to 5 easily with about 58s left and then unnecessarily fouled Prigs

These kinds of brain fart by the tactical moron McHale will be exposed come playof time by better coaches and better teams

We really can't do much except vent and show our frustration of love... so here's hoping for a glorious playoff run despite our injuries and I just hope McHale learns one day how to actually coach...

    Exactly.

I've never been a fan of McHale as a coach until this year. But what he and his staff have accomplished in the face of injuries and compared to what the world was expecting from the Rockets this year has been nothing short of remarkable. Anyone that's complaining about him this year would complain about any coach that ever lost a game. He should be in the conversation for coach of the year.

Simple answer ... Harden! inspite of McHale

We have championship aspirations so we ought to have higher standards.
