Toronto sure has been busy! First Willis, now suddenly Mark Jackson and Corliss Williamson. They got JYD though. Gives them help on the boards.

Can we pick up Michael Smith who was waived by the Wizards today even after the end of the trading deadline?He is a good rebounder and could replace Carlos Rodgers next year if Rodgers decides to leave for Detroit.

There's not really a log jam for the raptors. AD plays center, Clark can play the 4 or 5, and JYD can play the 3 if needed. Great pickup for Toronto.

This may be a stupid question, but what does JYD stand for? (Besides truth, justice, the American way, etc.) I assume it refers to Jerome Williams.

 

Junkyard Dog would be my guess (i.e. Mario Elie).
