How much do you pay for health insurance?

My company covers mine... don't know how much though.

 

$130/mo with Humana, basic catastrophic plan.
$20/mo for Delta Dental.
Individual plan through the market.

Young adult, healthy male, nonsmoker. Good enough for yearly wellness exams, moderate copay for office visits but I got friends to see if I really need to go to doctor.

 

My f'n health insurance doubled this year!

36, single and healthy. Non smoker. Houston.
Monthly premium went from $140 to $320 including dental. BCBS.

That's ridiculous! I thought the new Healthcare laws, if not bringing the premiums lower would at least hold it steady.

 

My company pays it for around 70/mo. Oxford health insurance. It doesn't save me any out of pocket unless I meet a $5000 deductible. If I meet the deductible it's a $20 copay for everything. Seems pretty pointless since I never go to doctor.

 

Family coverage, large company and I only pay a part of it (rest is provided by my company)- my part is a little over $700/month

 

mine went from $220 to $330.

 

Family plan for 4 - about $750 a month, but I'm blessed that my job pays it 100%. I also have an HSA where they contribute $80 a month

 

For myself, like $22 bucks a month. Provides dental, vision and healthcare. It's from the hospital I work for. Quality of care has been good the times I've needed to use it.

Give or take $350 a month for my daughter and myself. United Healthcare for health and vision, dental through Cigna. $600 deductible with an 80/20 split afterwards.

With some first hand experience on healthcare negotiations between insurance companies and employers, I can say that it defintely helps to work for a profitable company that's willing to fight at the negotiation table and pay up when necessary. Gotta invest in your human capital.

I got insurance meeting tomorrow at work. I always get lowest insurance available which has a $5k deductible for $212 a month. I am 32, single, healthy and non smoker. Only thing I use my insurance for the last few years is a yearly physicals besides that I never use it and rarely get sick. Oh vision is $12 a month and dental is $28 a month that I also have. Our dental insuarance is straight trash.

Last year with Blue Cross Blue Shield I was paying over 800 for me and family. I work for a major oil company.

This year switched plans but now have deductibles but still 400 a month.

 

I'm in the same boat. Went from 232 to 330. The worst part about it is the $6000 deductible. It doesn't seem like I'm getting very much for my money.

 

Family of 3 - $960/mo. Dental only for my son. HMO instead of PPO. But I did choose $0 deductible with 100% coinsurance so it's little more expensive. I think my wife is nearly half of that monthly. I know this because for a few months last year we had separate insurance through BCBS and hers was nearly as much as both my son and I together.
