We might risk wearing DMo out since he starts at the 4. We really need a quality backup 4/5 that defends, blocks and rebounds. Having Jones on the floor was a real luxury because DMo could spell either position. I think if we have Josh Smith, we'll be able to parse out the minutes better between the 3 of them.

Fatigue is fatigue. It doesn't only count after it has accumulated over several games. A player can get injured because of fatigue the first game of the season. All it takes is going past your level of conditioning, that's when your movement starts getting sloppy and your basically dragging your body, rather than pushing it. One OT game, where a player has been pushing himself extra hard, could be enough.
