    As seen in the title, Black only played garbage minutes last night, while Dorsey was playing backup center. Thoughts on the switch? Neither one has an injury, right?

    It's just a matter of contracts...neither would be playing much with Smith coming in, and Dorsey's contract is longer/guaranteed. Unless they can find a willing trade partner for Dorsey, I would think Black would get cut first.

    dorsey is better defense
    black is all hustle
    both are unreliable on offense
    but i trust black with the ball than dorsey

    Dorsey has been giving good minutes so far recently. I don't believe Black is an NBA player. Just shows how thin the Rox came into the season as far as front court depth.

    dorsey's outplayed black for a while now. he played in limited mins in a couple of games recently but feigen posted he had problems with back spasms at the time.

    Dorsey deserves those minutes. Other than rebounding, black is absolutely garbage.

    I guess not absolute garbage, but it frustrates me the most that he's so uncoordinated. If the NBA counted catch % of balls within 15 feet of the the rim black would be almost dead last in the league.

    People are being too hard on these two guys. Dwight Howard was injured for a substantial period of time and the Rockets held their own with Dorsey and Black playing a lot of minutes. They are not the greatest, but serviceable.

    You got to look at the matchup.

    The Blazers are having Freeland, Leonard & Kaman out there, they are bulky and slow, its a better matchup for Dorsey than Black.
