Wanted to compare James to a guy who's led his team to the Finals. No chickens crying what if.
    James deserves that respect.

Harden has a chance to be 6th best SG ever, so yea he has a chance to surpass Clyde.

Clyde is still way ahead until further notice.

Scores like Harden (a bit less efficiency) but was a MUCH better defender. Also rebounded better and was an excellent passer.

You didn't have to hide Clyde on defense. He averaged 2 steals per game for his CAREER.

He was the #1 option on good Portland teams for a long time then came to Houston and won a championships as the #2 option.

We didn't see him at his peak here, but he was still freaking impressive. Meshed seamlessly with Hakeem and made us much better.

Clyde's peak- 27.2 ppg, 7.9 rebs, 2.7 steals, 5.8 assists per game whole shooting almost 50% and being a disruptive defender.

Before they met in the '92 finals, "would you rather have Drexler or Jordan" was a legit question. That's how good Clyde was in his prime.

What's with these awful polls in GARM?

Of course I'd pick James Harden over Clyde Drexler for commentary.

I think if Clyde grew up as more of a 3pt shooter like today's NBA players then he would have shot a better 3pt% for his career and a higher ts%.

I voted for "prime" Clyde, but it's really close. If the new all-NBA defensive Harden shot better from the field then I'd pick him.

Clyde gets the edge but I'm not so sure that will still be the case in the coming few years.

Granted, Mike James had some good performances for us, but not close in terms of consistency.

different styles. but it is fair to say that Harden will be chasing Clyde as best SG in Rocket all time team.

Clyde spent his prime years playing for the Blazers. After last year's playoffs, I hate the Blazers.

    Therefore, I will take Harden

No it was not. It was MJ and then every other SG.

This year's Harden is better than prime Clyde IMO.
