I was going to post something last night about inviting Hollis to camp, but got too tired and crashed out. I would love to see the Rockets give him a shot at making the squad. If he does we should try and move Moochie, which is going to be difficult.

Eh, I'm lukewarm on Price on the Rockets.

He's 6 foot nothing (if that), and doesn't really have much in terms of PG skills from what I've seen. I have no doubt he'll find his way on to an NBA team somehow, but on a team with problems finding a real distributor as it is, and when our main guards are already on the short side at 6-3 and 6-4, I don't see us as an ideal team for him.

Never know what could happen to the roster, and if he decides to battle for a roster spot on our squad, more power to him.

Exactly. He's short like that other guy...Isiah something or other. ;)

If there's one position where size doesn't matter (insert joke here), it's back up point guard. I love the guy*, he's got mucho heart and you can't teach that.

Hollis is the man! He just isn't that great of a ball handler. I am as big of a Sooner fan there is, but he has to work on the ball handling. I watched just about every game he played in his college career, and whenever he had to take the point, he struggled. Just giving my unbiased 2 cents.

Yes he was. I saw him torch the Horns for 4 years. There's always room in this league for someone who can score. Hollis is a high energy guy who can seriously fill it up. He's got NBA 3pt range. I will be seriously disappointed if he is not a Rocket this fall.

I'd rather have Ebi Ere. He's 6'5" and 215. He had an uneven senior year but I think he would make a good back up 2 guard.
