As a side track, I've been on your side many times in the past. You can make a good argument when you try and you obviously respect evidence. But I don't quite understand the level of pride and stubbornness that tends to blind you to the obvious sometimes.

player option for next year? no thanks. who could we trade to match salaries? wont be terry, his leadership and contract are better. won't be papa because he's got more upside. wont be dmo because he has more potential and we need his size. not allowed to trade dorsey, ish, or garcia until december 15th.

this trade has no legs. the only players we could trade are powell and covington's NG contracts for someone in the $3M range with an ending contract.
