Hard to predict how Benjamin will look with Cam playing, but Cruz has been pretty pedestrian since last season with Eli throwing up so many ducks. I'd go Benjamin.
Not a fan of Doug Martin. I think his value was over inflated due to one dominant performance against a ****ty Raiders run D 2 years ago. I'd hold on to him because it isn't time to panic just yet. Not really big on Allen Hurns long term. Shorts is coming back soon, and who knows if Henne will continue to target him consistently when they really want to try to run the ball more with Gerhart. All in all I think you were a bit too Week 1 knee-jerk in your waiver additions. I don't look for fools gold, because it happens every Week 1 and every week after. What you want to look for is somebody who has a legitimate chance at weekly value, which right now could be Forsett.
What's the word on pierce and forsett? Who is getting the starters reps and the most touches? I have pierce on my bench and an wondering if i should go pierce over Rashad jennings?
Edit: I'm an idiot... Personally i would go Washington because even though Jacksonville looked good week 1 i just don't buy them as an offensive that at all, that plus Washington is at home while Miami is on the road.
Should I trade Jeremy Maclin for Russell Wilson? My quarterbacks right now are RG III and Jake Locker and my wide receivers are Randall Cobb and Michael Crabtree. The league only starts one WR and one RB with two flexes.
Depending on who your other RBs are, I would. WR3 if Shorts is out again - Quick or Nicks (Luck is my QB)?
My other RBs are LeSean McCoy and Arian Foster. I'm pulling the trigger. I'd do Nicks for WR - don't trust the Rams at all.
That's what I'm leaning towards. If Quick has another nice week, I may think harder about putting him in my lineup.
I'd give a slight edge to Jennings, considering who knows what kind of workload Pierce will see. But also, can't lose sight of the fact that the Giants are TERRIBLE right now, and Jennings could have trouble finding running room....
In one of my leagues, my RB's are Morris/Spiller/Vereen/Pierce/Moreno. I received an offer of D.Martin/Ridley for Spiller/Vereen. It's a yahoo pro league where I can only start 2 RB's so I'd start Morris/Moreno until Martin gets healthy. What do you guys think?
Vareen is the back to have in NE regardless of PPR or Standard. Martin is stuck behind an awful offensive line and is already banged up. Spiller on the other hand is in RBBC but he will get his touches because Buffalo averages the most rush attempts the past 2 years and Spiller can break one on any of his touches. I wouldn't do the trade.
Fjax is going against Miami who has a good front 7 and they played very well against the Pats last week and is in a timeshare with 3 players.... 3!!!! Kendall Wright on the other hand is going against a depleted Cowboys defense and is Locker's #1 Option. Locker looked very capable last week on the road in arrowhead staduim. I would starting Wright because I think these are the games that you drafted him for. If not now, when are you going to play him?
