Get excited! Just picked up a commitment from Avery Johnson's son! :grin: {No idea if he's any good or not}

danuel house is a big time recruit out of high school. he was a 5** star recruit offered by some big time schools. spent one year in houston. This is good news especially because we just lost two transfers in Jamal Jones and shawn smith.
After landing 5* sophomore transfer danuel house this summer. Recently acquired SF 4* sharpshooter DJ Hogg and 4-5* Center Tyler Davis from the AAU of Texas Titans. We currently have 4 guys from Texas Titans AAU. Includes NR Avery Johnson Jr. (Son of former pro basketball player) And 4* Guard Alex Robinson. Things are looking great we have a shot at 5* SF Eijah Thomas. Soso Jamabo could be a backup plan depending his decision to play football or basketball. We are bound to have the best roster ever in the history of A&M basketball according to ratings.
I was really apprehensive about Kennedy's recent 2 year extension, but if he can bring the talent in that it looks like we are starting to get, then I have no problem giving him some time to do that and see what he can do with it.
Without a doubt ... If he doesn't win with 3-4 5* athletes in the 15-16 season, he will never recruit that kind of talent again anyways so we have to move on.
Does that not strike any of you as suspicious at all? I found it interesting that a team that is okay but not great gets several highly ranked players all from the same team. AAU is not exactly the cleanest system...
It actually is the only thing that makes sense .. you get one guy from there ... his teammate wants to go there, and then another teammate sees that and wants to play with his boys, etc. Would be much more suspicious coming from multiple teams. The great thing is that if we can play well, we have the facilities and finances now to be a real player in CBB if we get a coach that proves he can win big.
It's not any more suspicious than anything else I've seen. Like adding Beasley's AAU coach to your staff.
The Ags just landed their 3rd high 4* prospect for 2015 ... If Elijah commits on Tuesday, we could be looking at a Top3 class nationally .. unreal Dont know who the booster is with the slush fund, but thank you!
