I am a huge fan of the DREAM, but you have to give the Rockets' Franchise some credit here......I mean there job is still to put the best team possible on the court every night. Now I also agree that one of the worst things about sports these days is that there is no loyalty. The Rockets have shown loyalty the Hakeem, but Hakeem opened the door when he said he would play someplace else next season if the Rockets didn't re-sign him. The Rockets cannot hold the progress of this young team back by continuing to tie up cap space with older players like the dream. I do not think the Rockets should sign Hakeem to another contract after this season. If Olajuwon is going to retire after this season then I believe that he should be extended the courtesy by the Rockets to retire a Rocket. However, if Olajuwon plans on signing and playing someplace else next season, I think the Rockets would do a disservice to the team and the fans not to try and get something of value for a player that is going to leave you in a few months anyway...... However this turns out, LONG LIVE THE DREAM !!!!!!!! ------------------
