    I'd have to say no.Well I would hope not. the only reason I became a fan of the rockets was because of hakeem , Hakeem made the rockets who they are, and I would hate to see them trade him; unless he asked for the deal.I know that it would be remarkable for us to get shareef and we would be one of the top tier teams with him. But I believe in loyalty.Hakeem may just be a shell of his former self, but I think he earned the right to retire a rocket.Don't you?

    Maybe it ain't so great to retire a Rocket?
    And it certainly isn't necessary.

    If Hakeem's not getting used the way he wants to be and he is willing to go elsewhere, isn't that the path to dignity for both Hakeem and the Rockets?

    It's not like the rest of the NBA is Siberia (although Minnesota comes close) and Houston is Eden.
