    I have no idea. If I HAD to guess (it's too early to judge them and/or the rest of the league), I'd say 8-8.

    To be honest, I'm just excited to see what BOB brings to the table. I think losing Kubiak and Schaub will be addition by subtraction.

    I can't even express how excited I'll be on opening day to see someone besides Gary Kubiak putting on the headset and calling the plays. It's been a long time....

    It's routine for teams to rebound from a pathetic season. The Colts went from 1 win to 11.

    In before they have Luck. We have plenty of core players. More than any other team in the division actually.

    I would be disapointed, if they dont win at least 7 games, and I would be very surprised if they get 10 wins, and enter the playoffs.

    That is the key.
    Remember how Schaub seemed unable to score once he got in the redzone? Well Fitz had a 105 rating in the redzone last season, so hopefully he can keep that going. If he does, that should translate to more points once we get there.
    I am feeling a little more confident with this coaching staff having kept an eye on them with their techniques and philosophy - they should be able to make the most of what we have, especially on the depth chart.

    It would be hard to beat the '98(?) Rams - they came back from last to win the SB.
    8-8 is very realistic, and 10-6 is not out of the question - especially if Fitz cuts those picks down and the D returns to good form.

    so my prediction of afc championship appearance last season did not come to fruition. that's on me.

    Given the poor state of the AFC South, realistically every team but the Jags has a legit shot at winning the division, 9 wins could be all it takes.

    Does Cushing play? at a high level? 16 games?
    Will Clowney be ready to play OLB?
    How good will be at NT? will Nix play?

    If those answers are positive, the D could be real good, REAL good; but they will have to be.
    If the turnover ratio goes strongly our way, 10-6, equal 8-8, negative 6-10.

    Their defense got even worse than it was last year AND they'll be missing their best defensive player for the first 4 games, they have no run game, Reggie Wayne is a question mark recovering from an ACL tear at 35/36, they play a first place schedule, the Titans and Texans got better in the off-season.

    They didn't regress last year when every indication pointed to them doing just that. At the end of the day, while I agree they're suspect and due a regression... Andrew Lucks gets to play Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jake Locker and Blake Bortles six times; they also get to play the Browns, Cowboys and Washingtons. On paper, they'll be favored in all nine games.
