Actually I think as Mo continues to recover, I can see him becoming a good rebounder. Unlike his first year w/ us, if u watch the games last season, he fought for the rebounds hard even if can't jump very high.

I remember him grabbing a couple of nice boards on the offensive end. His offensive reb/min last year was actually better than his offensive reb/min in his first year when he's with us (which is more telling since you have to fight for those). I think the benching is really getting to him and we know he has the desire to play which is always always a plus (remember stories about how hard he worked after his first season and how he cried after he found out the severeity of his injury).

I think if he gets his athletecism back, (a big if but he didn't pull a Grant Hill and reinjure himself last year so who knows) he can be a real asset to this team.

Actually our point guard shouldn't even be trying to get rebounds. He should be running the other way to start a fast break. But that's another thread... :D

Desire and timing. It has nothing to do with height, leap or anything else. Its just a matter of seeing the ball and going to get it. Thats why Rasheed Wallace can be one of the most atheletic players to ever play the game grab 7 rebs, but a guy like Barkley would have 12 fall in his lap. Its another reason why Dirk grabs 10 and Ratliff grabs 7. Danny Fortson, who can't jump high enough to slide a card under his foot can get 11 rebs automatic.
