Bulls' conditional first round pick

I just read this on ESPN message board.

Sam Smiths article is not on chicagosports.com for some weird reason so I'll quote the paper version.

"The Bulls made a curious decision in acquiring Bryce Drew. As a result of trading a conditional first round pick to Houston, the Bulls no.1 picks for the next five years are encumbered...meaning that they cannot be included in deals because Houston has claim to them, even if in the end the Rockets probably will not get one. It furthur limits the Bulls in trying to make a deal because their players are not high-priority items around the NBA at this time."

FIVE YEARS?

I thought the conditions were for this year only. Anyone got any scoop on this?

Clutch archives has it a future conditional first rounder or two future second rounders. That paragraph is from today's Sam Smith column.

If anything, that's a positive, as the Bulls will want to get us a first rounder (or 2 2nd rounders) ASAP.

Does Bulls picks include picks they are owed, or just their own?
