To be fair it might be the same script but it will be written by a different screenwriter and have a different director and producer.

If you're being fair, it's a completely different script by a different writer with a different cast shot with better cameras, and edited more professionally.

I'd be happy drafting Clowney....but would seriously want to go to a 4-3, which obviously isn't happening. Crennel's system seems like the worst possible fit for him. A 4-3 RDE with Watt inside? Amazing. A Wade Phillips all-rush WOLB? Fine. But a 3-4 2-gap end? No. A 3-4 OLB with relatively heavy coverage responsibilities? No.

about 70% of all snaps would be in a sub package with a 4 man front....don't get so wrapped up with base packages, they'll almost never be in one and a 3-4 blitzing OLB has almost no coverage responsibilities.

So let me get this right. Not only could he not sack the quarterback, but he couldn't stop the run either... Yikes...!!!!

Which was a legit injury. That does not go away easily.

Also he's nothing like Mario, Mario was much more a project than Clowney is. Remember Clowney was a porjected #1 pick coming out of high-school. Mario was a guy that burst onto the scene.

Clowney is basically Andrew Wiggins. A guy who going into College was projected to be a #1 pick...now people have some doubts about him. I think it will be a huge mistake passing on him because he's not the perfect player. Obviously. But I think this is the perfect situation for him.

How is that a excuse when the consensus is that he's had a amazing pro-day?

Exactly, it's not like he performed like crap and then blamed it all on not wearing gloves.....

Mario was a 4 star high school recruit, and a top 100 player.

Clowney was a projected #1 pick when he came out of High-school.

Right. It doesn't excuse anything, it just makes what he did today even more impressive.

He wasn't the top high school recruit for 2011 according to the scouting service lists I've looked at.
