Just thought I'd rant a little about the remaining teams, and their chances of making the finals...

    Detroit

    Pros

    - If defense wins championships, then give the Pistons the trophy.
    - Have to play the Nets, who they beat constantly in the regular season.
    - They have the team concept down to a 't'.
    - Ben Wallace. He needs to pull down 15 boards a night. Which he's been doing.

    Cons
    - Need to outscore their opposition, NJ, which may be difficult.
    - Not much finals experience, except for Cliff Robinson.
    - Sometimes can fall into a hole, a la round 1.

    New Jersey

    Pros

    - Run, run, run. One of the best running games in the league.
    - Having swept the Celtics, they've had a good time to rest, and get rid of small injuries.
    - Been to the finals before, and having been swept, they may come out with more fire.
    - Jason Kidd. Enough said.

    Cons

    - Were slaughtered by the Pistons in the regular season.
    - Been to the finals before, and having been swept, may have lost some confidence.
    - Coming off a long rest, they have need some time to get themselves together on the court.

    Prediction: Detroit 4-2

    San Antonio

    Pros

    - They've won it before, and know what has to be done.
    - The Admirals last year will give them a boost.
    - Tim Duncan. MVP. Already proved he doesn't have to score 30 a game for the Spurs to win. Now a tripple double threat.
    - It's all about the team.

    Cons

    - When Tony Parker sometimes goes missing, usually the Spurs lose.
    - They'll struggle against a running team. See Phoenix series.

    Dallas

    Pros

    - Their offense. Last six games: 113, 132, 141, 83, 112, 109.
    - Big guns, Dirk, Nash, Finley, Van Exel. All can go off for 40 any night.
    - The best 3 point shooting team remaining.
    - Playing an injured Sacramento team.

    Cons

    - Their D stinks.
    - Been constantly labled as 'soft'.
    - Live by the 3, die by the 3.
    - Still have to beat out the Kings and Spurs.

    Sacramento

    Pros

    - Run a great offense.
    - One of the better 'teams' in the league.
    - Defence isn't bad either.
    - May see this year as a 'once only' opportunity, with the Lakers out.

    Cons

    - No Chris Webber.
    - Bibby has to play like he was in last years playoffs.
    - Need constant production from bench players.

    Semi-final prediction: Mavs in 7

WC Final prediction: Spurs in 6

    Finals prediction: Spurs in 6

Feel free to tear apart, add, or whatever. :D

well here is my logic as to why I am picking the Spurs....

It's a Texas triangle as far as the Texas teams owning each other in the playoffs.

The Mavs own the Rockets in the playoffs (1-0 all time series edge)

The Rockets own the Spurs in the playoffs (2-0 all time series edge)

The Spurs own the Mavs in the playoffs (1-0 all time series edge)

    Spurs in 7
