    actually i agrea, Jordan is a VERY STRONG candidate for best player ever , but personally i vote for another.
    i percieve Magic as the best ever , the only player to play 1-5 at ELITE level (unless LBG will decide to play center :) ) , made Karim a SUPERSTAR , made Karim loveable (ever harder feat :) )
    i also understand ppl who claim Wilt /Russel are the best they too are strong candidate.

    this day only 2 may threaten the best position -> LBG (turning into a strong candidate ,need 2-3 more years at current lvl) or maybe Durant (need to start making ppl around him better)

    and on a side note : kobe as best ???, he maybe a top 50 who simply was lucky to play under Phil and with the best front court who was able to cover his chucking/chokeing
