Funny how New Orleans potentially in the mix. And maybe Eric Gordon, even if for a 3-way trade? (*shrugs*)

 

With Gordon's contract, I doubt there is that much trade value. If people complain about Asik's balloon payment, Gordon's deal is far more burdensome.

 

Turner is not coming off the bench so who would he replace in the starting lineup?

i don't think asik was a part of whatever deal is being discussed...no way will the celtics take lin and asik contracts..i may have been " lin+Jones or DMO+ Casspi+2nd round pick for Rondo+Green or bass or olynyk....idk if the salaries match up..but it sounds like a good deal for the a team like the celtics

 

Atlanta has one of the cheapest owners in basketball...no way will he pay for lin and asiks contracts next year

If in any way we could get the 2014 pick and perhaps just guessing here but Austin Rivers, I would keep the pick. While I would not expect or necessarily want Marcus Smart for this Houston team. I would really hope to get Tyler Ennis from Syracuse and having that chance would make me say no to the Rondo deal.

Either Lin or Asik can traded on their own straight up for Rondo for the salaries to work. I assumed Lin wasn't part of it because cyberx posted the Celtics have interest in Bev.
