How often do you drink per week?

Pretty much every night. My lady and I kill a bottle of wine (and usually open a second one) most nights when we are home. Once or twice a week we go out to eat and usually two drinks each.

 

It's Wednesday and it's past noon. Wednesday is one of my days off. On my days off I start drinking at noon. You don't get to interrupt that.

 

I'm 27. Generally only drink Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The most I'll drink in one sitting these days is probably about a bottle of wine, and that's rare. Most nights it's splitting a bottle with the lady or no more than three fairly strong beers (usually ABV 7% or more). Enough that I feel good, but not so much that my functionality is really impaired.

 

Only drink socially which is usually reserved for the weekend. Range from one modest drink to a six pack of these.

 

Once a month since I started residency. 3+ beers will put me to sleep immediately.

Now that I'm in my 30s, my drinking has gone down drastically. I average probably somewhere around 3-4 times a month, usually on Saturday nights. I'd say I'm usually around 4-5 drinks a night, with the occasional shot or two mixed in if it's someone's birthday or something. When I was in my early-mid 20s though, it was every Friday and Saturday night, with shots, mixed drinks, and beers all over the place.

Damn, just entered this thread for the first time...was too shocked after the OP to keep reading.

I'd say I go out for drinks maybe one night per week and have 2-3 drinks.

Will probably have a glass of wine with my dinner during another night of the week.

So usually have about 3-4 drinks per week, total.

 

im too broke to drink.
only during special occasions, and I only drink about 2-3 every time.

In total, I'd say about 6-8 per month, except during Christmas/New Year time.

 

Either you guys are sissies or I have a drinking problem.
