we improved defensively after we traded ppat. and we needed to trade him anyway....

Now, what I am not that great at discerning is how good of a defender Patterson is. I know for a long time he was well regarded on this forum as a defender - esp. on the pick and roll. Things somewhat soured on him last year. It would be great if someone had some stats on his defense. I don't have access to Synergy or anything.

At the four spot, I am basically interest in a comparable player as any other role player on the team - a fairly good defender who can hit the open shot. I haven't read anything in this thread to convince me Patrick would not fit the bill.

It still would be nice if someone had some advanced defensive stats (I don't know how to find) on Patterson. People keep saying he's a bad defender, but I disagree.

Also, why is it that the one thread I start that gets any volume of activity is rated 2 star? It hurts my feelings.

Also, 2Pat's stats for this season look worse because of the slump he was in earlier at Kings. You just have to watch him play a full game to see how he has matured.
