    I don't remember exactly WHICH time as we thought we had Dwight twice before we got him, but I'm pretty sure I remember the Rockets twitter feed started following several of the Magic players rumored to be involved in that trade.

    Don't think Morey did though.

    The Bass/Lee deal NEVER made sense. Morey is never one to shell out long term money for role players. I think the Celts may have leaked it to try to drive down the asking price.

    I think we'll be in for a surprise tomorrow. I can't recall Morey pulling off a deal that was leaked ahead of time.

    He probably acted really interested in it to stir the waters. The deal was offered 5 days ago and he had to rekindle them.

    We'll know tomorrow. Yet one more day I spend most of my valuable time on clutchfans while Im at work.

    Multiple league sources told the Globe Wednesday it was likely Morey was trying to stir interest in Asik than a deal was in the works. Another league source said that, in fact, a deal was not in the works.

    However, late in the evening, yet another league source told the Globe a deal was "close" and the sides were haggling over the draft pick. Another league source said that Bass was not involved in a proposed deal.    ​
