    What do y'all do or use to protect your identity? Or how to check if it's being used? Thanks.

    LifeLock is a scam, and they were actually fined for deceptive business practices.

    Find a monthly or quarterly credit reporting website and simply have those run. I've used on called Identity Guard in the past when I was cleaning up my credit, and it worked great. Now I just check it once or twice a year, but I'm lucky and have a unique name.
