There was an article by a retired statkeeper, who basically said that he decided to give Nick van Exel 20+ assists one game, and any pass that vaguely led a made shot, he would gove that to van Exel.

he shot it halfway between the 3pt line n the halfcourt. i think he meant that as a last minute heave, didnt really expect it to go in but it did.

 

Not only that but he dribbled it up like he was going to let the clock run out. He wasn't on a mission to get double-digit points. But, he saw a couple of seconds left and no one guarding him, so why not try? Shame on the Spurs for quitting early.

 

man i wounder how close an eye the nba keeps on bets placed by statkeepers...Its ripe for prop bet fixing.
