I feel sorry for the kids who never got to watch the Kings play (from 1999-2003). In every single game you will see multiple highlight reel worthy plays that you just cannot believe happened before your very eyes. They created magic on the court and were the epitome of teamwork. I'm grateful that I could experience the greatest show on court in my lifetime.
I think the Timberwolves are built like that old Kings teams. It's no coincidence that they were both coached by Rick Adelman. He preaches team basketball, high post princeton offense. They got Rubio who fills in the flashy passing/Jason Williams role. Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger who are smart and know how to play off the ball like Stojakovic. Kevin Love is their star player alot like C-webb. Pekovic and Divac too somewhat. Theyre both from Serbia..
